Sd.Kfz.182 Konigstiger - Porsche Turret
This is the 1/72nd scale Dragon "Armor Pro" version of the King Tiger with Porsche Turret and Zimmerit. It is modeled to reflect a vehicle from s.Pz.Abt.506, Arnhem, 1944.

Konigstiger by Gary Boggs
This is the recent 1/35th scale release King Tiger Late w/zimmerit by Dragon. It is built to represent a tank from Stab./s.H.Pz.Abt. 505, 3./s.H.Pz.Abt. 505 number 321 commanded by Lt. Erwin Volker in the area of Gross Blumenau, Germany in April of 1945. (from "Konigstiger in Color" by Waldemar Trojca)
The turret area without zimmerit was achieved with a Dremel tool and patient sanding. The decals for the kit were sourced from extra decals from the Cyber Hobby kit that depicts a tank from this company.
Painting was done with an Iwata airbrush using Tamiya acrylics. Finishing was achieved using various Tamiya, Vallejo, Mig, and other oil resources.
